Mr. O.P.Mendiratta has joined Parkland Group of
Hotels as its Group General Manager.
Prior to his present
assignment, he was working as
Deputy General Manager Hotel Connaught New Delhi. Mr.Mendiratta
brings with him more than couple of decades experience in
hospitality industry specialising in hotel operations, sales and
marketing. He had also been General Secretary of Unit Hotels Forum, Executive
Committee member of IATO and Travel Media Forum. He has bagged
awards such as Bharat Excellence Award, TMF Award and
IATO award for his contribution to hospitality industry.
He is also associated with various other tourism and hospitality
organizations. |

Neesha Mohapatra has joined as director - human resources (HR)
of The Leela Kempinski Gurgaon. She was previously associated
with the Crowne Plaza, Gurgaon, as director - HR. She will be
formulating HR and administrative policies, managing the human
resources function by developing strategies in alignment to the
organisation’s goals and targets. She holds an MBA in human
resource management and has nearly a decade of experience in HR.
She has worked with various hotels in India and has gained
expertise in formulating HR policies, recruitment systems,
talent development, employee relations and performance
management. |

Kunal
Chauhan has taken over as F & B manager , The Leela Kempinski
Gurgaon. In his new role, he will be responsible for restaurant
and banqueting operations. He holds a diploma in hotel
management and guest services management. With nine years of
association with The Oberoi group, he brings a valuable
experience of managing outlet operations and banqueting
functions. |

Vineet Mahajan
has been appointed director of sales & marketing, The Leela
Kempinski Gurgaon. His last assignment was with The Grand,
New Delhi, as director of sales. A hotel management graduate, with an
MBA from
Aberdeen Business School,
UK,
Mahajan comes with a vast experience and knowledge of 11 years
in hospitality industry, telecom and investment banking. He has
spearheaded various sales and marketing and strategic
assignments with Intercontinental Hotel, Oberoi Hotels &
Resorts, The Essentia Group, UK E Strategic Capital Corporation. |

Rakesh Tandon,
an
IRTS Officer of 1978 batch, has joined Indian Railway Catering
and Tourism Corporation as its managing director. Tandon joined
the Delhi Division of the Northern Railway in 1980 as assistant
operating manager and held various assignments on Indian
Railways including chief personal officer, administration, and
divisional railway manager, Northern Railway, Ambala Division.
Prior to joining as managing director of the IRCTC, Tandon also
worked as executive director (passenger marketing) and executive
director (efficiency & research), ministry of Railways. |
