Greesh Bindra as the Vice President and General Manager for the hotel. With his

Vikram Madhok, MD, Abercrombie & Kent India, has been appointed as the
Chairperson of the World Travel & Tourism Council, India Initiative (WTTCII)
for 2012. This was decided at the WT TCII's Annual General Meeting held
recently. Madhok, who was the Vice Chairman of WTTCII for last year,
takes over the Chair from Vivek Nair, Vice Chairman and MD, Hotel
Leelaventure Ltd.

Kamlesh Barot is the new President of Federation of Hotel and
Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI). Barot is an innovative
entrepreneur and an accomplished restaurateur having had valued
experience in India as well as abroad in setting up many brands.
He has been active in the hotel and restaurant business and has
been a committed member of FHRAI since the last two decades in
various positions. |

Dilip Shinde
Dilip Shinde has been appointed Joint Managing Director at MTDC.
Shinde held the post of additional collector, Government! of
Maharashtra prior to this. He will, simultaneously hold the post
of Director Tourism, Govt. of Maharashtra. Before joining MTDC
he was Director, Cultural Affairs, Govt. of Maharashtra. He has
an MA (MCJ) and also holds a postgraduate degree in law. He
started his career as District Treasury Officer, a Class I post.

Jasleen Kaur
has been appointed HR manager at the Courtyard by Man-iott
Gurgaon. Jasleen's previous assignment was with The Ibis Hotel,
Gurgaon as HR Manager. Her corporate experience spans about nine
years in the hospitality industry and she has experience
encompassing recruitments, selection, training and development,
performance appraisal and employee relations, developing annual
objectives. She began her career as training coordinator with
The Oberoi, New Delhi. |
