Greg Webb has been appointed
as the president of Sabre Travel Network. In this new role, Webb
will take responsibility for the overall performance of the
Sabre Travel Network business around the world. Webb has been
with Sabre for 14 years and has experience in all aspects of the
travel network business including leading the marketing since
2005 as well as managing the company's supplier relationship
Travel Network business in Asia, and also the Sabre's
Hospitality Solutions business. |

Monisha Dewan has been
appointed as general manager of Hilton Garden Inn, New Delhi/Saket.
Since assuming the role of general manager, Monisha has been
responsible for all aspects of the hotel throughout its pre -
opening phase including overseeing the operations during design
and construction, recruitment and training of a 164 strong
staff force, and preparation of the hotel team to welcome their
first guests. Monisha joined Hilton Garden Inn with close to
18-year experience in the hospitality industry and has worked
with brands like Marriott, Intercontinental, Hilton, Oberoi and
Centaur. |

Mahesh Behl, a 35-year-old
veteran in tourism trade, has been appointed as director-
business development & consultant, Sunrise Naturopathy Health
Resort, Jaipur In his previous assignment, Behl worked with
Haryana Tourism for over three decades and was at the forefront
of promoting Surajkund Craft Mela and farm tourism in the state
at both national and international level. Behl also served as
assistant director in Ministry of Tourism, Government of India
where he oversaw operations of seven India tourism offices. Behl
is also the chief coordinator of Haryana Tourism Mart. |

Shalini Kapoor
has recently been appointed as the marketing
manager, Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC). She is responsible
for all marketing activities, building relationships with travel
trade, airlines, associations and business partners for Canadian
Tourism Commission. With more than 12 years experience including
nine years with Jet Airways, she has an extensive airline
industry experience. |

Sanjay Sharma has been appointed the
complex general manager for The Westin New Delhi, Gurgaon (pre -
opening) and The Westin Sohna Gurgaon Resort & Spa. Prior to
moving to Gurgaon, he was the general manager of
Le Meridien,
Cochin
for over seven years. Sanjay has over 20 years of experience in
the hospitality industry across the globe. He started his
career as a trainee steward at the Maurya Sheraton, New Delhi.
He has been the recipient of many awards for outstanding
contributions to the hotel industry. |
