Neptune Foundation, which is a non-government organisation
(NGO) committed to the cause of the girl child and old people,
recently organised a Charity Polo Match at Jaipur Polo Grounds,
New
Delhi. T he Charity Polo Match was a grand success. It was
attended by renowned personalities from the travel and tourism
industry
According to C.P.Sharma, president, Neptune Foundation and
managing director, Neptune Travco, the players, who played for
this noble cause, included industry personalities from various
sectors. Also present on this occasion were Shivani Wazir
Pasrich, Delhi's top socialites guest; Steven White, deputy
ambassador of US Embassy; Shushil Kumar, former chief of naval
staff; Ferdinand Maultaschl, ambassador of Austria; Jaime
Nualart, ambassador of Mexico and many other dignitaries.
"Through this match, we aimed to raise funds as well as spread
awareness about girl child," said Sharma. Meanwhile, the
foundation has started helping needy girl children through
various educational and welfare institutions. Neptune Foundation
was registered under the Societies Registration Act two years
back thanks to the major initiative taken by Sharma. Sharma
sought support from travel and tourism industry for the noble
cause. "Donations made to our NGO are exempt under Section 80G
